background and aims

Colour, picture construction and composition have been major preoccupations in all my work.

My Paintings have moved back and forth, over the years, between figurative and abstract themes, with influences of Constructivism, Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art showing in the work.

Fashion Illustration has been another strong outlet for my creativity and in recent years I have been combining the stylistic and figurative concerns of Fashion Illustration with the broader fine art perspective; to create a kind of art, which hopefully catches the eye of a modern media user but satisfies the need to linger and contemplate associated with the function of painting.

Digital Giclée prints; Signed, limited editions on individually selected grounds and sizes

I have experimented with choosing the most effective grounds and sizes for particular images, which are offered here as limited editions, signed and numbered by the artist, using Giclée printing. These are special editions of only 99 pieces. The digital image is transferred directly onto top quality grounds giving a deep and richly coloured artwork. Every one of these works is individually approved by the artist, numbered and signed and accompanied by a certificate as a mark of its authenticity and collectibility. To achieve the quality demanded by art collectors and enthusiasts, I employ fine art quality printers and specially tested colour-fast inks, blending art with technology to produce exceptional quality artworks.
